Managing Director

Natalie oversees TaxForce’s national interim and fractional talent delivery model, partnering with tax departments across industries to scope needs, assess technical and leadership requirements, and ensure rapid, high-quality execution. Her background leading executive tax searches at TaxSearch gives her unmatched insight into how high-performing tax teams operate and the type of talent required at each level.

Natalie works closely with clients and the internal recruiting team to maintain TaxForce’s disciplined, search-driven approach and ensure every engagement delivers immediate, measurable value.

Katie Cummins

Senior Account Manager

Katie is a Senior Account Manager who has worked with TaxForce since 2023. She attended Virginia Tech, and in 2016 she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a minor in Entrepreneurship. Since graduating, she has gained experience working in various industries including real estate, property management, and commercial production, and has lived in multiple cities such as Washington DC, Los Angeles, and Charleston. Her diverse background has not only strengthened her adaptability but has also fueled her passion for meeting new people, building relationships, and connecting with clients from all walks of life. This enthusiasm—combined with her wide breadth of professional experience—has helped her quickly excel in her current role and become a key player as TaxForce continues to grow.

In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, camping, going to the beach, reading, road trips, checking out local breweries, and discovering new places and people along the way.

Alexis Geddis

Senior Recruiter

Alexis is a Senior Recruiter whose career journey began in the field of Human Resources, a domain she has always been passionate about. Her initial experience in HR laid a strong foundation and honed her skills. After several years in HR, Alexis transitioned to a recruiting role, discovering a new passion that prompted her to shift her career focus. She found great satisfaction in recruiting and has dedicated herself to excelling in this area.

Before joining the TaxForce team, Alexis worked as a recruiting manager spending over six years in recruiting working across multiple industries placing executive level professionals in executive level accounting, Information Technology, and administrative roles. Her passion lies in connecting candidates with opportunities that align with their strengths and long-term career goals.

Known for her strong work ethic, Alexis is a self-proclaimed workaholic who values maintaining a healthy work/life balance. In her free time, she enjoys bike riding, spending quality time with family, traveling, and exploring different parts of the world.

Matt Bizon

Senior Recruiter

Matt Bizon returns to TaxForce as a Senior Recruiter, bringing more than seven years of recruiting experience and an extensive network of tax professionals built throughout his career. He first joined the firm in 2019 and spent five years connecting experienced, independent tax professionals with the companies that needed them, before broadening his experience in accounting and finance staffing and technical recruiting. That range gives him a strong sense of what makes a placement work for both sides.

His approach to recruiting is simple: communicate honestly, move quickly, and build relationships that last beyond a single assignment. Matt pairs discipline and follow-through with a genuine interest in the people he works with.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Matt is based in western Maryland.

Cheri Palm

Project Coordinator

Cheri is a dedicated Executive Assistant and Project Coordinator with over 30 years of experience supporting C-suite executives across wealth management, medical device, pharmaceutical, and other fast-paced industries. She has supported teams of all sizes and levels, bringing a calm, dependable presence and an intuitive sense of what people need to stay organized and at ease. Cheri is valued for her professionalism, empathy, and ability to keep operations running smoothly, even during the busiest seasons. 

Outside of work, Cheri enjoys traveling, spending time with family, staying active outdoors, and teaching Zumba. She and her fiancé, Brian, are both from the Midwest and moved to the Charleston area about five years ago. Cheri loves building meaningful connections—both in and out of the office—and brings that same warmth and balance to her professional life.

April Stafford

Account Manager

As a former TaxSearch/TaxTalent team member from 2011 to 2019, April has recently joined the TaxForce team as an Account Manager and is excited to reconnect with the tax community. Having spent years supporting tax professionals and employers within the TaxTalent network, she has a deep appreciation for the relationships, expertise, and opportunities that make this community unique.

Friendly, analytical, and driven, April is passionate about helping clients and candidates succeed by building meaningful relationships founded on trust, communication, and results. She graduated from Northeastern State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice (Paralegal Emphasis), and brings decades of diverse professional and life experience to her work. Her background, combined with years of experience supporting the tax profession, gives her a unique perspective on understanding client needs and connecting exceptional talent with the right opportunities.

April lives in Mayes County, OK, near Lake Hudson.
